Reliance Lifetime Incoming Free Only operator to offer flexibility to choose tariff

Source

DAKC (Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City), Navi Mumbai, December 27, 2005

Offering the widest choice of tariff plans to stay mobile forever; India's largest private wireless operator Reliance Infocomm today launched a Lifetime Validity Prepaid Voucher of Rs 995.

A subscriber loading this voucher will not be bound by any particular tariff plan for a lifetime. With Reliance IndiaMobile, he will have the option to choose from the company's wide range of prepaid vouchers and tariff plans as per his requirement.

"Our subscribers will now continue to receive incoming calls for a lifetime and at the same time they can choose their tariffs for outgoing calls" said S.P Shukla, President - Wireless, Reliance Infocomm. "This is a significant benefit offered only by Reliance, since we believe that a subscriber's needs change over a period and binding him to a particular tariff plan for a lifetime would not have been customer friendly."

For instance, If the subscriber expects high outgoing calling in a particular month, he can use our Rs 430 voucher and get the benefit of lower calling rates (Rs 430 voucher gives him night calling to a Reliance IndiaMobile for free and day calling at 40p per minute within the state)

This Lifetime Validity Voucher of Rs 995- currently available with E-recharge - comes with Rs 50 talk time pre-loaded. Those who need to make outgoing calls occasionally can recharge with top-up micro-recharges starting from Rs 10 and make outgoing calls at the default calling rates of Rs 1.99 for a local call and Rs 2.99 for all other calls in India.

The company offers an SMS bonanza as well. Its 'Marathon SMS pack' worth Rs 180 allows 18,000 short messages to be sent over six months. This Marathon SMS pack is a wonderful combination with the Lifetime validity Voucher.
