Hey!

I am building this program which tracks all the stocks my mom owns....and I want to send periodic alerts to her phone, so is their a way to do this? Ob BPL you can do it by sending an email to number@bplmobile.com......anyway to do this with Orange/Airtel? I tried the ways available on the net like number@orangemail.co.in and number@airtemail.com but it doesnt work. Any idea?

its number@airtelap.com for Airtel users in Andhra

Number@airteldel.com for Delhi users i suppose.

Like that we have @hutch.net at some places.

Dunno much. Try on google. I had seen many lists like these long time back.

chikka needs the person you're sending the SMS to respond every once in a while. If he/she doesnt then it doesnt allow you to send any more SMSes.

Ok I got a tip its a indirect way but may b for time being it might help you lots... Its fast And its free check reliability on your own...

Look from your post its obvious that your software is on a terminal thats online and you can write mails in realtime... So send mail to hotmail id and from there forward mails to a mobile device orage supported since donkeys years... I have forwarded my mails to mobile device RIM no receiving is free sending sms is charged...

I do get notifications for my mails instantaneously... so would you....
