Hi Friends,

Try this software (I-Love-You Messenger 2.0), It works on Palm OS

I had not tried it, Just confirm if it works for you.

http://aarexpress.com/wap/messenger2.zip

Discription:

I-Love-You Messenger 2.0

For Palm OS 3.5 - 5.1

For people, who need to let her ( him ) know without words, bcs it´s too loud in the disco or club.

Send SMS - the recipient doesn´t need Palm or mobile phone to receive it!

But it´s also universally usable in many serious situations, where you can see the recipient,

but you cannot hear each other, so you can send him small message.

From one car to another, from bus to your friend on the street, in the production and many other

locations, where the distance is not more then 20 m.

But don´t use it in examinations to send your friends the right answers! ;-))) and not during the

boring management meetings in your company to flirt with your neighbours!!!

If you choose the speed 1 - 3 and then move your hand with Palm from right to left, it will look

like the message would hang in the air, interesting effect especially for clubs and other dark

locations.

If there are enough interested users, Pro version will follow, including unlimited length

of message ( currently 15 characters ), more characters and fonts, icons, smilies, colors free

choosable, saving your own messages in the list, saving preferences - let us know if you want it.

INSTRUCTIONS

Choose one message from the list or write your own in the field, use only capitals and space,

no other characters.

Choose speed and color.

Tap on "Send" button for testing.

Use the Keys "PageDwn" for sending and "PageUp" to return to the main screen.

Button "Change" will open a dialog and after entering your text, the selected item in the list

will be replaced.

Yes, kinoma is a good player which has been discussed before.

Here is one more where we can find lots of softwares for plam OS

http://www.handango.com/

http://www.geocities.com/bluecrabsoftware/

Just try this, as I dont have a handset.

I would suggest you not to install all the applications available on the net into your palm, as it would become really unstable with Fatal error messages popping up every now and then. Just keep those software that you use the most.

Using the date book. Either click on the date book, or press the first hard key from left. You can set the alarm from there. The alarm ringer will be the one that is set in the pda or phone prefs.

But it is next to useless. Use the BeeOnTime software for this, for getting comparatively louder alarm. I am still searching and experimenting how to use vibrations alarm on 7135.

Have you installed ZLauncher

Then surely you have to go through this link

Create, manage, compile skins for ZLauncher with ZLSkinConstructor !

http://portal.treobits.com/forums/index.ph...st=0entry1288

I found that Launch'em is much much better n faster that ZLauncher. Is there anyone who has experience of ZLauncher?

I guess these launchers would just slow down the whole thing, had ispin launcher earlier, and had many problems when it was there.

Now that many of us have had this PDA for quite a few days...let us accept that it is a reasonably good phone with great pda capabilities, though it has its limitations due to the dragonball processor and the Palm OS 4.1 version...On an all, I would say it is an amazing deal for those who bought it for 8k...I would rank it as 8/10 (1 extra point for the cost).

There are few aplications I am still looking for and have had no luck so far...would appreciate if any of you guys can help-

1. Answering machine application

2. Any freeware substitution for Mergic VPN

3. Freeware document viewer- minimum word, excel, ppt and pdf. I have quickoffice trial, but will expire in a couple of days

4. Video player with audio support -- kinoma has never played audio for me, though it is supposed to

5. Lastly, a good image viewer

Cheers!

Kinoma producer allows you to convert many video/audio/image formats to native Kinoma format and you can upload them to be viewed on Kinoma Player.

1. I'm looking for one too !

2. PalmVNC 2.0

3. ditto as Ashok's reply

4. Kinoma does play Audio even if you export the file in default values in Kinoma Producer. Though it doesn't have the best sound. Will check out mmplayer and see how it performs

5. I use GrxView

Thanks Ashok and Arun...

I have added you both in yahoo...I wonder if you guys use skype? I prefer skype over yahoo or any other chat client, let me know if you do..that would certainly be a lot easier for me.

Cheers!
