ksudeep 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 recently i'd been to LG service center to enquire about version upgrade. the receptionist told me that its free irrespective of the warrenty but there is not guarantee that the handset will usable after operation. she added that that there are 2% chances that the handset goes dead. * is this true ? * shall i go for version upgrade ? * currently i'm running R23REL08 PRL : 1. which is the latest version available ? * what are the additional features available in the latest version ? * can we do it by using Bitpim/QPST ? tia. So wish you Good Luck if you are upgrading 2) Yes, version 15 is recommended, though version 17 is available now. 3) See above. 4) Dont expect new features, but a few bugs are fixed 5) No !
