Which Is A Good Buy For 5.1 Speaker System

Please suggest a good 5.1 speakers under 10k

I did a study for a week but not able to finalize.

And also a sound card

Altec lansing ATP3 ... its a 2.1 for 3300 Rs and kicks a$$ of any 5.1 for less then 10K speaker set

a good 5.1 will cost you 15K+... such as logitech Z series...

My choice would be to get the speakers assembled to your likeing, soundcard no idea.

Any one knows any other shops in bangalore except Computer warehouse ?

I wanted to buy speakers for gaming purpose only (some times movies )

So again i am in a great confusion to just buy ATP3 i.e. 2.1 or go for 6.1 or 7.1 (creative)

yes. its truly said that altec lansing atp3 kicks *** of any damn 10k 5.1 speakers.

i strongly suggest you to buy 5.1 speakers only if you are going to put all of them in 4 corners of the room with proper wiring and you are going to buy original dvd where you can actually get the advantage of 5.1 speakers.

or else buy any good 2.1 speakers like altec lansing atp3 @ 3300 with 60W RMS total peak power, that would be much better.

altec lansing also has 5.1 speaker system which is available locally, is VS3151R, coasting around 8000, which has 50W RMS total peak power.
