coolharshal 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2006 Humm.. I thought i'm the only one whos facing this problem.. Earlier i thought its due to my handset.. But seems its very common. If it is done to prevent unintentional calls, They should provide an option to disable this 'feature'..

ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted February 8, 2006 well each operator has a cut off.... coz they do not like customers getting angry, coz their phone auto dialled someone when it was in their pockets, and the call lasted for hours on end... and the 1.7 hours that u mention of calls abc123, could be a rare exception, when the server resets were done ( was it sometime between 3.00 - 5:30 AM (if u are in Mumbai / Mah) ) ? Cheers Ashok
basant_jp 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2006 (edited) Hey dear, this what everyone in mentioning in this thread.....Disconnecion after 1 hour problem is in 440 RIM voucher and other such RIM2RIM free plans....not in postpaid. @Ashok, Calls as long as 1.7 hours in postpaid is true....I had a more than 2 hours long call (143 minutes to be specific) on RIM postpaid yesterday only...and 178 minutes long call today morning on RIM FWP...And i only disconnected even after that... Cheers! Edited February 8, 2006 by basant_jp
akg7091 4 Report post Posted February 8, 2006 disconnection problem is only when you call from a RIM using 440 voucher. When I call from my FWP ( again free ONNET) I can talk for many hours without disconnections. Also, I have talked on incoming calls for more than one hour.
