Backlight Remain On After Hold Call

I have seen many time backlight remain on after the call. Then If I go to Display->backlight option it shows it is set to always on.

It seems it happens when I receive a call while I am already on another call.

Where I can search for known defect in this set/software. (LG rd 2230)?

Have you also experienced this problem?

Yes that happens even on my LG 2430 also quite frequently although I couldnt associate it with anything in particular-maybe u r rt bout hold.

Also the Menu Select button has become insensitive , has to be really pressed hard.

Any remedies anyone?

I got the sw version updated at LG service and the prob was solved.

Cleaning solved the hard press prob.
