ashley.james 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Hi Everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to use an alternate browser (Like Opera Mini) with RIM. I installed Opera Mini on my Nokia 3125 and tried to access net with it. While starting the browser, it checked for network connectivity and informed me that there is a working network connection. But when I tried to access google and other sites, it kept on waiting and never displayed a page or an error message. Has anyone ever tried accessing net on Nokia phones (NOT R-Connect). anujit 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Yes I've loaded Opera too. A russian version. But by pressing things randomly I could change the language to english. This is prior to Opera giving its Mini out for free downloads. You need to get the correct server settings to access WAP through any browser and we suspect RIM's blocked that.
