It must support Voice ringtones( Like AMR, Wav, MP3 or ne other format). 2. It must hv Radio. 3. Camera is optional. 4. I prefer Nokia, but can go for Sony Ericsson also. 5. My Budget can go upto 8K. bmdesai1987 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2006 (edited) Hi Vishal Well if u dont want a cam then try the N-gage QD - altho its a bit bulky but the voice tones - mp3 playback kicks the I-Pods sounds also - supports external MMC also. And u can have all the softwares and tones free from the net if u have a card reader. But new n-gage is maybe not available so buy a good 2nd hand deal. u should know how to buy or your second option is 6600 from nokia. Best among Series 60 Phones. Please buy a Series 60 phone yarr. abhiiii 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2006 u can go with samsung or lg one having mp3 players radio. samsung phones has the best radio's compared to nokia's.and it supports amr too. and the display is too good(much better then nokia counter parts) i forget the model .i think it is c220 or c200.u can check on samsung's sites. there is a one more set from sony ericcson costing aroung 6k. having a cam and 12mb memory.supports mp3,amr, and our fav 3gp(for mms scandals ) and it has ir as well for east transfer of files. I guess in the grey it will be much cheaper and can just come within your range. I recently saw a phone Moto Razar V3i. It is now available only for Motorola employees at Rs 12k,will be out in a months time in the market.In looks it is way ahead of any phone in its class. The phone is too good: (i)It has ipod interface with itunes and all. (ii)256 external memory free (iii)Regualr bluetooth,ir,gprs,video recording (iv)1 MP camera (v)USB charger so that u can charge using laptop during travelling. (vi)Hands free and leather pouch free. (vii)the body is supersleek,the speaker is very loud. The processor is so powerfull that it can do other activities while the mp3 player is still on.
