I have two queries------

1. Is WAP working in this phone..since it has started working in nokia 6265?

2. is it possible to use it with reliance and tata simultaneously..since its RUIM enabled?

please reply soon..as i want to buy it..

2865 user please clarify how Can we transfer snaps from PC with PC suite or Bluethooth? Which data cable is compitable with 2865 is it DKU-2? Today I bought new 2865 @ 6400 but when WW people opened the box they found there was no RUIM card inside that ,so they gave my money back & ask me to enquire after 2-3 days when they get RUIM card from Nokia. can you suggest me where can I get RUIM card seperatly & I am also having 6265 so can I interchange both RUIM card & use both handset like GSM phone?

i think u can put ruim of 6265 in 2865..

well are the RUIM different well cant i put RUIM of ne handset in ne othe rcdma handset suppose from nokia 2865 to LG3470...or vice verssa

same here!

went to 3 webworlds + 2 noika priority dealers in last 4 days ..every 1 saying will get u set tomorrow...noone comitting....according to 1 nokia priority dealer no phones available in delhi as of now next shipment expected 2mrw evening but expect heavy rush..huge demand.....only thing i was able to get my hands was a brochure of 2865!!!!

i hope i have better luck tomorrow!

Wait for some time guys, do not rush. Nokia is bundling 1255 ith this handset. 10-1255 to get 1-2865.

I strictly suggest to check the demo before going for this phone, as am badly disoppinted with the display.

Can I use existing RIM 2865 with MTNL Garuda connection as I need it because I am having Garuda's unlimited local plan & if I can use bluetooth earplug with that then I can talk very comfortably.

What he means is that Dealers are to buy 10 1255 if they have to get 1 2865 from Nokia.

SO that means that they have to sell more 1255 as well, which is a tough job and hence reluctance on the part of dealers to buy 1255 as also 2865 and there fore the paucity in the market of 2865

if what tanveer saying is true then at least we could have seen glimpses of 2865 or dealers saying we got 1 but we sold it just now something like that!

but i am getting flat replies not available for last 1 week, not even on premium!

even dummy set was only available with only 1 priority dealer (i went to 3 of them) & not with any webworld people!

but i hope for the best & may this set be soon available freely in delhi.

Can you elaborate more on the quality of the display... I have been waiting to get one.. but if the display is not good I might buy one of the available phones rather than endlessly wait.

finally i got my hands on it today!

got it at 6600/ which seems to be the official price 6354+ 4% tax.

display is good, large, clear.

FM is good, loudspeaker loud & clear, no phata dhol except when signal not clear!

nice easy to use!

buttons although small designed for easy use.

looks are elegant!

themes, tones kaam chalau!

sound reception is good!

dedicated volume adjuster is handy!

dedicated button for voice tags!

joy stick is flexible enough!

will keep u posted on further details as i keep on exploring!

& didnt bother when i saw the handset.

MRP on the handset in 7600 something.

it may have been that webworld's particular rate as everybody was quoting prices varying between 6400 & 6800 & all these prices were from Nokia priority dealers & webworlds!

i dont know what inside things are going on!
