evry1 have look at tata plans-purane din yaad aa jayenge kasam se-rs 50 pm national sms free....rs 75pm free local calls....rs 225 plan-free local call n sms etc etc etc-sabka baap hai tata toh-id say evry1 analyse the tarriffs and see why reliance is useless now.

som1 said-wht abt the new handset price if we shift---so bhai im sure unofficially reliance cell can be programmed to work on tata network.....so guys plez put in how n whr here or through pm's=-plezzz i wanna get rid of this ******* reliance asap.

The only thing Tata lack is the coverage. Their network is often so congusted, it is at times impossible to call any Tata phone in peak hours.

@abhishek1711: Let us look at the past few posts of yours, which I think earned you a warning from ashoksoft.

1. You post about your need to buy Rs 55 SMS topup card and a postpaid connection with free STD in 2 threads - a) Buy and Sell and b ) Unlimited Onnet pack closed in postpaid. While the post was justified in a) it was not in b ). The second thread discusses about Reliance's desicion to close the onnet pack and its impact on subscribers. Though there is information about a black market dealer in Kalyan, but that too is relevent only to onnet pack and not SMS topup card or free std FWP.

2. You post about selling your Reliance handsets in 3 threads a) Buy/Sell Department, b ) Unlimited onnet pack closed in postpaid, and c) Free National STD: Tata Indicom. Again, the post was justified in a) but not in b ) and c).

The above three threads, discuss three different things and I do not see the need to merge the threads, just because you choose to post about your requirements to buy and sell in all the three threads.

We, as Moderators, might require a crash course in ... (please fill in the blank with what you intended to say) but this is the way we have been keeping things organized at RIMweb.in.

yes i did post in relevant thrd.if one thrd talks abt particular scheme being lcosed-i think thr's nothing wrong in seeking tht scheme from tht thrd-as the target trafiic will log in to tht thrd.

anyways this not a argument.its ur forum,ur rules and ur verdict.u can ban me or warn me-as u wish.

and im sorry for those harsh words-to set the records straight.

This 700 land line plan (Tata to tata free STD Plan) was there in the tata indicom web site since long long ago. But i have called their CC few times before, every time they told that the plan was discontinued (and the website was not updated).

Please check with Tata indicom CC.

True...this plan was available till a few months back with walky...Almost after a month after Reliance stopped new connections for Unlimited RIM2RIM calls, they stopped it too...I doubt if it is available anymore...

Just a correction -- As per the websoite, this plan is applicable on wireline...and is available in select circles only. It is possible that they have introduced this plan for wireline consumers (earlier this was available with walky, which has a wider reach the wireline)

Coverage wise Tata is not far behind Reliance In UP.

Tata has already covered 80% of Reliance coverage

area.

Main thing is they are expanding without delay

I expect Tata to have more coverage within 2 months

One more interesting thing to note that Reliance do

not have money to provide interconnectivity.

In UP Distt Hardoi has reliance coverage for more

than a year but they have not still deposited amount

So all BSNL Land line have to dial 0 to contact Reliance

In Hardoi all other service provider including Tata have

Landline connectivity

Yes rajesh is right.Tata is expanding their network fast as they are pumping huge monry in it.They have excellent railway and highway coverage.

Chill Guys..Tata also has wide network coverage now, of course not as much as Reliance, but the way they have been expanding, they soon will have. Anyway, mind it, the network you all are talking about is the wireless (CDMA 2000 1x) network and not the wireline. As for Tata's landline in UP, it is not the wireline. They have the wireline at present only in 5 circle, which does not include UP for sure.

The plan that is being discussed above is only available to the Tata's wireline subscribers available at limited areas in 5 circles at present. So guys, make sure you have the Tata wireline in your area before dreaming about the free national STD...and switching over your provider.

hiii guys,

im thinking of shifting to tata as i need onnet packs which reliance has stopped.

bt am confusded abt its features and reliability.

does tata have any sms scheme in prepaid?

does it have any top up/e recharge feature like reliance?

im planning on prepaid bt no sms scheme so maybe have to take postpaid.....afraid as postpaid intimidates due to billing issues......can we set our own credit limits to avoid huge bills??

wht r the entry level color handset schemes on prepaid/postpaid?

if any user or tata her/any1 having knowledge plez advise.....

reliance has 15p p/m bt after using unlimited adaat kharaab ho gayi hai.....

Well abhishek why u dont see tata site for d idea of d schemes why asking every time Tata website updates regularly than Reliance.since they hav free tata onnet sms only not like reliance 180 RCV.Also tata to tata onnet calling plans.

i am a former tata indicom office staff

they do not bother about expansion of coverage or service, in kerala especially

all they need is new connections ... they just forget and don't care for the old existing customers

Believe it or not

Tata is any time better then Reliance when it comes to FWP or FLP.
