BPP 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 A good initiative from AIR TEL to have more customer confidence.. Reliance has a long way to go . Every time I changed plan or subscribed to a new tarrif plan , there were some or other billing errors. Although they rectify it later, but I wonder why it happens at the first place it self
MVP 3 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 This offer is open for a limited period for the postpaid subscribers? What does that mean? After the limited period they don't assure you valid billings?

Then theres 1 whole page of T&C which I couldnt read either!

Ramchi 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 In US if there is a Billing error they give equal amount as credit. But they have stopped this after some time. Here the billing is not consistent across all circles. For example: Airtel in Karnataka may be giving error free service but in Tamil Nadu they indulge in cheating. Whereas, Reliance in Mumbai may be giving error free billing service but when it comes to South India, they are worst offenders. I am not sure how this can happen? Whether they deliberately screw up the system in certain circle where there is no political activism is less. For example: Karnataka and Tamil Nadu customers are always at the receiving end. While Kerala customers get what they want, same with Mumbai & Delhi customers. Looks to me there is a pattern in cheating Indian public based on your geographical area and political background in the state. I can say with authority that most of the providers are there to cheat TN customers.
petar 15 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 but then look at post paid plans u get in TN.... mumbai-delhi customers can dream abot same.... we never get those plans.
Ramchi 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 Dear Peter, I would not take that as an excuse for cheating TN people. They come up with so many plans but they never give it in paper in Tamil Nadu. None of their offers are available in blac-and-white papers. When I request for a written contract where they clearly mention all the rate plans, they refuse to give. Long time back Airtel came up with a plan Sachin/TF plan where calls between TN Circle and Chennai Circle [that too Airtel-Airtel Mobile calls] at Rs 1.00 Per Minute. But I received a bill at the rate of Rs 2.99 Per minute. When I asked they told it was due to ADC. But they never bother to inform TN customers properly. All these momentary offers in TN are there ONLY to cheat poor TN Customers. I can only pity TN people for being exploited by others.
