I hae purchased local data cable at the beginning and still working fine. But the problem is after every 2.5 hours i have to re-charge the phone as the battery gets discharged. I remember way back i have seen a data cable which has both Serial and USB cable for PC end using which u can do the internet using serial end of cable and charge the mobile simultaneously with the USB end of cable. One of my friend used to have that cable but now i am out of touch with him. I have searched reliance site, ebay, rediff and other places but unable to find this type of cable. Can anyone help me regarding this. I have LG RD 2130. Data cables for LG 2030 & 2130 are same. I was using an original USB LG cable with LG 2030 (bought @Rs.1200 from webworld). It had a convertor box and there was an additional port on the side of the box, so that a travel charger could be connected to it for charging the phone while surfing. So if you could get hold of any such cable , it should solve your problem since the charger of 2130 is "travel" type (i.e. unlike the desktop charger available with LG 2030).
