MVP 3 Report post Posted April 25, 2006 To get Yahoo Mail Beta, just switch your content preference to Germany, France or UK. Then you will be asked if you want to join the beta when you log into your Yahoo Mail. Say yes, and join the beta. Then from the options menu, change your content preference what it was before. Then go to Yahoo Mail again. You should see Yahoo Beta. If you don't see it, go to options and click "Try Beta" button. That's all. How to change your content preference: * log in to Yahoo Mail * click Options * select Account information from the left panel * go to Member Information, General Preferences, Preferred Content * select, for example, Yahoo UK * click Finished * go to Yahoo Mail * you'll see a page that says "It's the New Yahoo! Mail Beta... and you're invited." * click on "Try Beta Now".

Chirag 5 Report post Posted April 25, 2006 * you'll see a page that says "It's the New Yahoo! Mail Beta... and you're invited."* click on "Try Beta Now". I dont get this page! was it becoz i have a .yahoo.co.in account?Tried wid another Yahoo.com account and i got the Beta. I'm disappointed! Both MSN Live and Yahoo Beta are straight stripped off versions of MS Outlook! Nothing new!! I switched back to the old version.

I switched back to the old version. 2)yup its totally f*c*ed and the worst case is with windows live mail it dosent support firefox i would rate them three as 1) GMAIL 2) yahoo mail 3) any other mail exept windows live mail i was sick of windows live mail and so i opted out of beta still i can surely say GMAIL the best amongst the three !! what say ?? anujit 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2006 Its great man thanks! Yes I didnt like the windows live mail beta either. Firstly ads take up half the screen. Gmail and yahoo both have ads on the side pane. Listen up M$! Also coupled with the world's worst spam filters and a very buggy interface. I think its Gmail for now and ever!
