theking 35 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 Guys, Have been introduced to chat since the last 2 weeks....a newbie there! Always wondering how can people have more than one id at the same time (according to me, max 2 possible with the .(dot) additional account way) and the ids containing all special characters which yahoo does not allow at the time of creating IDs! Further, have been booted up/freezed many times from chat rooms by someone (many times with the 10 booter machine).... Can someone please explain how this works and are there any anti-booters possible and the booters available to screw someone up Please guide...... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Multiple ids... well that is a simple thing with yahoo, go to http://www.profiles.yahoo.com/your yahoo id now login, after that click on "Create New Public Profile" and make a new profile... once that is done, when u double click on Y! to send a message to someone, u will be given a choice of ids to be used... One easy way to be out of booters (way better than any anti booter..) on Y! , press Ctrl+Shift+P and in the Ignore list... ignore anyone whoz not on ur friends list yeah there are a trillion incapaciated booters there ... not worth the a** of the coder who made it cheers ashok Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
theking 35 Report post Posted May 1, 2006 (edited) Ashok But the profile created 1 default + 6 additional ids......But none allowed special characters Further, can someone pleasee pm me the booters which are powerful enough or help me understand how to boot someone... linuxguy 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2006 theKing, Gaim allows you to USE AS MANY IDS AS YOU WANT ***SIMULTANEOUSLY***. You can be logged in as abc, def, ghi, jkl in yahoo and mno, pqr, stu in MSN, vwx, yz in AIM AT THE SAME TIME. And its supports a hell lot of protocols. theking 35 Report post Posted May 3, 2006 Bhai mere.....I have one ID with 7 different profiles.....Gaim does not support multiple profiles.... I would have to create 7 different IDs to have 7 logins!!!!!! Yahoo messenger would b better off at that part, i guess ! Please correct me if i got that wrong ........did i not read that??
