rohsum 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2006 Hi Friends!! I am in a big problem. While fiddling with my Kyocera Programming Settings, after entering the SPC Code, the Home Screen, I changed the original phone number(10XXXXXXXX) something, and I have forgotten it. Now my set is not working, though it is receiving the network... Please tell me a way of recovering that no. Will Web World guys tell me??? Or will it be possible thru HCC or GSK somehow?? It's urgent, please inform asap... u guys can tell me on 09818096434 as my Reliance no is not operational. Thanks!! Rohit
Arun 795 Report post Posted May 23, 2006 I guess you are referring to the MIN number. The service center can retrieve the MIN for you. You may also try complaining at Web World that you accidently edited your MIN number.
rohsum 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2006 Hi Arun and friends... I went to the Web World today, but they said they could not retrieve the MIN number, they didn't understand what I was talking about. They said that my number could only be activated on a new phone but the old phone(7135) would become useless. Can I instead use an HCC for this purpose? I mean I deregister the existing set using an HCC and then reactivate it back to the same set?? Is there anyone in Reliance who can perhaps help me recover my MIN/Phone No on the forum?? PLEASE HELP guys... its urgent!!
KingofKalyan 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2006 From above posts I can make out that u want ur min no. Yes u can do it by HCC.......But do u think ur Phone will accept *229 + 9 digit pin no. Or else u should give a try .......If nothing works.. Then do visit back to WW and tell them that ur handset has lost/stolen and u want ur no. to be shifted in Some new Reliance's handset... Once u get the no. in new reliance handset for example In Nokia 2280 or Lg 2030 visit to Authorised service centre of LG or nokia whichever handset u did.. And get the MIN no from them... I dont think they will give it to u .... Still try to get from them by offering them some buks... Or else u can also read ur MIN no. from Unicdma Software.. And once u got ur MIN no. U can ask Reliance people that u have got ur handset back which was lost/stolen and now u want to retain same no. back....... Have a word with Supernova before doing all this number retaining process and all......
rohsum 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2006 Hi... Is the MIN number fixed for a Handset or Fixed for a Reliance Number? Because earlier I transferred my number from LG 6130 to Kyocera 7135, and then I changed the MIN accidently. But thereafter, I changed the MIN back by having a look at my LG 6130 Set. That MIN worked for my Kyocera, but I have lost it. So, I tend to think it is a Reliance Specific Number, so someone from Reliance can help me get it... Supernova... please help!! Arun 795 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 Thats right, my friend too had got it like that from the Service Center earlier. Web World folks may not be very helpful though since they won't get direct access to retrieve it. But they can initiate a request for retrieving it. So try once again at WW since Kyocera Service Center isn't available everywhere.
