patnaik 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2006 I have some questions regarding fixed wireless terminal - 1. Compared to a CDMA RIM mobile handset (LG 2230), would I get better signal reception and thus better browsing speed (Igt 2-3 bars on the mobile handset inside my house). 2. I don't have a LAN card on my PC but I have a USB-ethernet (LAN) adapter. Would that be good enough to connect with the FWT. 3. I have multiple regular phone sets and phone jacks (wall outlets in house). Is it possible to have the FWT serve the entire house? There are two connection ports that FWT has and if I plug the FWT to the house system, will the FWT battery drain faster, etc.? Thanks a lot!
Mahinder 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 1-2) you don't need lan card to connect yout computer through FWP. Just buy an USB cable and you are done. 3) you need fixed wireless terminal for that (not fixed wirless phone) and you can't connect multiple computers with one FWP OR FWT however you can setup home network and share internet connection from one computer if you want to have internet on all computers at home. if you want to share phone at multiple locations in your home then buy FWT and then share the points. I think he is asking for FWT Only and not for FWP
