schumi 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2006 Well I think Reliance was very quick in adding customers by introducing schemes like Rs 501 in the beginning to take away customers from Tata. Now Tata will have a hard time in gaining more customers because people dont like to change their Mobile numbers often. So i dont think Tata can cross Reliance in customer growth.Even Reliance will not keep silent when Tata introduces new schemes.It will surely launch better schemes and attract customers towards their services.Reliance even has a better network coverage. I think it is on EMIs and not outright, though not very sure at the moment. will check tatas site and post later. Just now checked tatas site, which says 150 pm for 18 months extra, so it is only down payment and not fullpayment of 1999.
