sklm 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2006 I have two systems one is 915/3.0GHz HT/512DDR/250GB SATA and other one is 945GTPN/3.0GHz HT/512 DDR2/250GB SATA/256MB ATI RADOAN X550. I am thinking to upgrade my first machine with a P4-D Processor 2.66GHz. Which CPU is best? I do online and off-line video editing. I use Adobe Premier 2.0 for off-line video editing. Which CPU will perform better for both type of video editing?
linuxguy 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2006 if you can wait then wait for the new intel core duo CPUs. They will give you the best performance in terms of video editing and stuff. The current Pentium-Ds run too hot. If you have urgent requirements then go in for AMD64 X2 processors.
