Arun 795 Report post Posted August 5, 2006 It won't work for the @yahoo.com account as POP/SMTP for @yahoo.com became a paid service long ago. It was free for @yahoo.co.in account and I hope it is still available. Make sure your POP and SMTP settings are correctly set to the following: pop3 server : pop.mail.yahoo.co.in smtp server : smtp.mail.yahoo.co.in server authantication : on secure connection : off And as amit pointed out, you need to activate your pop3 service first, for which you need to log into your email account, goto options, click "pop access and forwarding" and activate the pop service.
