prasad123 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2006 The R Connect datacard ZTE MC 315 was working fine until I deleted a LAN configuration to reconfigure it, as i changed my ISP. I am now unable to run the card. A message reads PCMCIA Application: Could not open COM port. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the software many times but the problem persists. I am a novice in this field & would appreciate any help in solving this problem. Thankyou.
amitstg 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2006 i think the com port used by the ZTE card is now being used by your new ISP connection, delete the device on that port and problem would get solved.
Din 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 I had the same problm while testing ZTE card in Desktop (using PCI to PCMICA adapter). Tested in Win 2K and Win 98, it didn't work. Then I tried in Win XP and it worked. Did you try XP ?
