Nokia 6255 will play/ open the applications only if and when they are in the applications/ games folders. To do this you will have to use Mobi Mb. search for it on various threads

Hi,

First of all thanx for looking toward my problem.

Only Nokia 6255 (reliance) supports installation of jar? what about other phones of nokia as well as other mobile phones like LG, SAMSUNG, SONY, etc............

1. Reliance has no phones on Sony

2. LG and Samsung phones on reliance do not allow you to install third party applications.

3. Amongst Nokia phones, 6235, 6255, 6265 and 6155(not sure) allow you to install some applications.

All the others are Nokia s40 2nd edition but 6265 is s40 3rd edition so it would allow you to install the most advanced applications amongst these though those a re still primitive as compared to symbian phone applications.
