Hi Kshah... reading your post here has put me in a dilemma... now how do we get this FCC... what does it refer to... pls elaborate. on my list of probables are the following phones... if u could throw some light on them too... assistance appreciated. 1. Palmone Treo 650 cdma 2. Motorola Q 3. PPC - 6700 (audiovox) 4. the one you have listed... vx 6600 (does it have wi-fi) 5. I could not find any CDMA PDA except 6600 with RUIM. 6600 does not have embeded wi-fi but it supports SDIO so if one buys SDIO wifi card, then it can support. visit phonescoop.com and seach for phone, in specs it gives FCC document links. If the guy who bought it is interested in enabling RUIM, than he can send me handset. I will try to enable RUIM on it. Ofcourse there is a risk of handset getting spoilt. If interested, pl. I read a lot about 6600 on net and feel that flashing using image of my handset could be possible. Then comes the issue of soldering SIM socket on PCB. It can be managed. @ Breaking News I do not have flasher. I have flash files. I have experimented flashing my phone with non ruim flash and it worked (Flashing only, not phone) so I believe if 6600 RUIM is not disabled by removing hardware components, then NON RUIM can be flashed to RUIM. You will get following with handset: 1. XV 6600 handset with RUIM support 2. Total 2 batteries (1 little used, 1 new OEM) 3. 1 data cable 4. 1 charger 5. 2 stylus. 6. 1 holster. 7. Loads of essential softwares on CD. Most of them are working.
