macisback 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 I have recently installed LG LSP350R FWP. I purchased the USB cable for Reliance and had no problems in installing the Modem Drivers. I can connect to RConnect. However I am not able to browse any pages through IE. My OS is Win 2000 Server. Can someone help me with this? I am also able to ping the DNS servers displayed in ipconfig/all. macisback
rajeevjee 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Have you checked the Data Baud Rate of LSP 350R? For LG LSP350R, press Menu->Setting->Phone->Data Setting->Data Baud->115200 Further, you also need to check under Tools option of IE, if the modem is reflecting. Are you getting any error messages when you try to connect thru R Connect?

Can you make an outgoing call from FWP? 2.) If yes, in IE, goto Tools->Options->Connections. Here, in the list of installed modems your LSP should be reflecting. 3.) If yes, goto Control Panel->Phones and Modems->Click on your LSP Modem and check if the Dialled no. is #777 and the username is your complete no. like 2032XXXXXX and same should be the password. Yes to all the above. As I said I get the message connected at 115200 bps and I can ping the DNS servers. What I feel is happening is that the DNS servers are not sending IP addresses of the various websites. Is this something to do with some other TCP/IP settings
rajeevjee 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 No...nothing to do with TCP/IP settings..that means the problem is very small and we are just moving around. How did you surf before on the same machine? Was it on LAN thru some proxy?

How did you surf before on the same machine? Was it on LAN thru some proxy? Thanks for staying tuned. I was using BSNL Broadband. Got shifted to Pune. BSNL is not giving new connections in our area for at least a month. Thought Reliance would be a better option. Anyway, I have (I think) deleted all entries pertaining to Dial-up connections for Broadband through the D-Link Router.
macisback 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 I have tried everything short of banging the phone. Does not work. The surprising part is that if I give the IP address of yahoo.com, I get the web page. Again, is there some thing in the TCP/IP setting for DNS resolution. Help!!! No internet for about a week now. Brief summary: Handset: LG LSP350R OS: Win 2000 Server Cable: USB from Reliance Dialer: RConnect Status: Connection OK . No browsing. ipconfig/all shows DNS servers

rajeevjee 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2006 I PM'ed you the contact number of one person in Pune...Have you contacted him? Check your message inbox on this site. Talk to Parag. The problem lies in the PC now (as you have deleted entreis) and not the phone/ cable. Better take help from your software vendor.
