Generally, s/ware is available for GSM handsets where u can connect the handset to the PC and send SMS thro the PC at the service provider cost for SMS. But they recommend only Nokia 6235 or 6255. wouldn't want to name vendors as it would only serve their purpose. rgrds. ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted September 2, 2006 Some handsets are designed according to the full Modem implementation which includes messaging options by AT or to be more specific - Attention commands . Now many of the lower end handsets did not implement the AT commands to the fullest - cost cutting. or as in the case with LG handsets (Lower end) many commands have been masked !! (probably operator insistance) now that most of the operators do not have any free messaging plans (except few dapos like me) so the options have come out. I find that the sms menu system on Reliance phones is cumbersome and requires too many key presses. In your opinion which is the best phone for sms..is it the new nokia 6265? what about lg6330 ?
