StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted May 5, 2004 no it's absolutely not possibly.. (hope that i might be wrong) but if what u are talking about .. it not a function of the bitmap itslef but it is because of the way that windows renders that logo bitmap. a bitmap as such can not be animated.. and for animated wallpapers i dont think it is possible since the phone should have an animation rendering subroutine if it is to be able to display animated wallpapers but I dont think it has one.. karpar 1 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 i agree with static on that count. bitmaps cannot be animated and the simplest animations are created as gifs. but nothing seems out of reach when u have an lg rd2030!!!
Code 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 The default animations (themes) in 7130 are rendered by displaying a series on bitmaps (I think) but no one knows what is the format in which these bitmaps are packed together into a file(if at all) and also we don't know if such a option is available for custom wallpapers. It might well be as if U open the header of the wallpaers U see 8@ means a 8 bit bitmap. So what are the other formats allowed?? Also the java applets of webworld display gifs (though not animated) Anyone more info on that?
StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 Also the java applets of webworld display gifs (though not animated)Anyone more info on that? webworld?? i think u mean r-world but i KNOW that most of the pics in java applets are actually PNG, the phone's also capable of showing WBMP images. StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted July 11, 2004 how come it has analog clock which is animated wallpaper or say screen saver. can we add ours ir change it. well, the Analog Clock you say, i dont think it's a wallpaper or a screensaver. it 's a programed component and moreover , the program is in the rom, so i dont think it's possiblt to change it.
