I tried installing RNetconnect on my Laptop which runs on Windows XP, It is not able to recognize the USB Serial Port and USB High Speed connect cable. At the time of installation, it says that the driver is installed for both and my device is ready to use but the setup doesn't continue. No error message no comments. The next button doesn't work in the wizard. I tried to uninstall the software and the drivers from Add/Remove Programs and Device drivers and tried once again. No luck. Nothing works. I tried all the ways and means of switching the mobile off and turning it on etc., Pleeeeeeeeeease help me in setting this up. Im getting frustrated Thanks in advance. Praveen Kumar 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2006 Guess I figured it out all by myself I found a solution for this problem. My computer was not recognizing my phone as RD6230. I tried installing the RD6130 software for this and it worked like a magic... I didn't understand how the software for RD6130 worked for my phone....!! Who cares..!!! it works!! dbdesai 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Hi Praveen, I have a LG 6230 Handset like you. I was able to install it on my HOme PC without a hitch. However, I am facing other problem. I am able to connect for the first time and connection works well.But when I try to connect again, It fails giving error 619 ( Port not closed). hfilvja 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2006 (edited) I too experienced the same problem while installing my 6230 mobile, the problem i identified is with the firmware drivers which are off late i.e., of some where around 2003 which was being supplied by the cable and by the reliance website, whereas the updated drivers & patch are with the service people and they're installing with ease.
