neelsin 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Hi Guys, I m facing strange problem while i m connected to net via my Nokia 2112 CA-42, i connects successful everything works fine download/upload. i can stay connected for long hours. But as soon as i play some videos files on WMP or any other Media players., my internet connects drops without any reason, this i have noticed since past 1month. earlier it was working fine. But i show's connected on my phone. I did re-install the USB drives, tried changing the port number now i re-installed my OS fianlly (winxp sp2 with all updates) still problem persists. I mean, do you get any error message ON_SCREEN? Pls be explicit. Secondly, as soon as you connect successfully, type ping -t del2.vsnl.net.in on the RUN command. Thanks for your reply, Adding, the windows connection icon disappears and r connect dialer comes back in connect mode and hence i cannot browse any sites or download. But the on the phone its shows connected. i don't get any error message or else it would be helpful to troubleshoot. I m using R-connect since 2 1/2 yrs never faced this prb. Also, i have noticed when there is less n/w traffic or ilde i can run the MP and the connection won't drop as soon as i put anything for download or the traffic is high (128 to 144kbps) it disconnects. But i can run any dam application but not Video files (mpg) i did upgrade MP to ver10. dint' help. My sys config is AMD 64 3000xp, 256MB, A8NVM-asus 200GBHDD.
