Zte Mc315 Card On Fedora Core 4 Or Fedora Core 5

Hi,

I have been using compaq laptop 2200AL Machine, I have installed Linux Fedora Core 4 over it

recently i had brought a Relience ZTE MC315 Data card, i want this card to be installed on my machine i have made several attempts to do so but was not successfull even in one, Is any linux champ who is been able to do so

If yes please post a reply on this topic and also explain the description in detail to do so, Also attach the files that are necessary to get it done.

run this command as root: wvdialconf

this command will write the port/modem value in wvdial.conf

now add this information there:

stupid mode = 1

Modem Type = Analog Modem

Phone = #777

ISDN = 0

Username = your_mobile_no

Password = your_mobile_no

Baud= 115200

after entering the above settings, enter this command to connect: wvdial

to disconnect dial: killall pppd

I haven't tried ZTE card on Linux, but you can try and let us know

Hi

I have tried this and continiously searching for some way to configure the card on linux now i have changed my card to "Huawei Ec321"

can anybody help me with this has anybody succeded in this so far, if yes please reply the post in details with your contact email so that we can share the information and spread linux
