Repairs Of Data Cable Ca-42

I am using CA-42 cable for R-connect with Nokia 2112. Few days back one of the pins on CA-42 cable on Nokia connector got completely damaged while removing. R-Connect is still working, however it takes few attempts before the internet starts. Sometimes many attempts before it starts.

Is is possible to repair this cable? Or one has to buy a new one?

you can repair it if you have some knowledge of electronics and have tools for it,any old nokia headset connector can be used to change the connector but it requires a good soldering knowledge and a lot of care.

try your local mobile repairing shop and tell him to replace the connector for you,most of them would not agree to change it and would advice you that throw it,and say it may give trouble later or it can damage your phone etc,if he agrees he should not charge more then Rs.50.
