How Old is Your Handset?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is Sukhad from Jaipur. I'm feeling very good to see this dedicated blog for RIM.

I am a Reliance Mobile Customer since February 2003. I got LG RD 2030 Handset from Reliance at that time. Now till today i am using that connection and that handset too. :help:

Meantime, Only once I've changed its battery. (I think in May or June 2006).

I know that there are more people here who have connection from beginning.

Just tell everyone that how Old Customer are you? and How Old your Handset is?

It will be better if you provide history of your handset.

As for me I have a Samsung 191 for nearly 2 years on postpaid. I have another prepaid (on 2-year life time incoming free) which is an LG 2030 which I recharge with talk time and family members go out of station and on other occasional circumstances. I also had an LG 2130 at one time.

Waiting for the GSM switch over before investing in a costlier model.....don't want to lose the number either

3) LG RD 5130 - about an year ago, with my Dad now

4) Kyocera 7135 - January 2006 - had the SRCP problem once, fixed it

Mine are as follows: -

LGRD2030 2 nos, both of Jan. 2003 vintage, working great but battery is a bit weak.

LGRD5340 1 no. of Dec.'05 vintage. all ok except battery which drains within 3/4th of a day.

Nokia 6265, 1 no. of Aug.'06 origin which I got as replacement for my defective LGRD6230 (which was used for about six months plus and which had voice clarity and signal sensitivity problems only)

LGLSP 350R 2 nos both of June 2005 vintage, both have replaced main board atleast thrice. but working OK till now.

Waiting for some real good PDAs and not the types of Kyocera 7135 or Konquest (avl. on Tata only) Hope Reliance brings out some new ones real soon.

Thanks
