I am not been able to use in my new compaq. Though I'll get an external USB Card in few days. But I am desperate to know if an express slot card is available. supernova 47 Report post Posted October 13, 2006 ya there are no cards for express slot . what you can use with express slot pc are the new external usb based data card which i got from pc . adavantage : you can use with pc as well as laptop , as its usb based. disadvantage: 1. u dont need to buy this if u are not very much into internet usuage.this work can be done by data cable also . 2. pcmcia based card has its own ease as its fully inserted inside slot ; not hanging like usb based card. Sierra wireless has just recently released the express card and forus to get it will take time as reliance has to import it. So for the time being i am using my 6265 with bluetooth for internet and my sierra card is lying waste. With compaq you are getting free usb based data card.
