ani_meher 42 Report post Posted October 13, 2006 I received sms on my cell, that Rs.25 are cut from your balance, when I hadn't made any call. I filed my complaint on CC. Today, I got sms, that the amount was rightly deducted for my RWorld usage. I remember I had used RWorld just once, n that too I downloaded a ringtone from Members area. So max, my 13-14 Rs should be cut. When I called them again, they told me that this 25Rs was cut for RWorld membership plan! I told that I had not requested to activate my membership, but that bugger keep on insisting that without my intimation, it is not possible to deduct the money. When I spoke to the senior, he told that on any RWorld enabled mobile, Rworld membership is activated by default, and he didn't have details of my deactivation in last year! Anyways, the matter is still under process, but the main thing is, RWORLD membership is enabled by default. DO check ur status. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Puneet 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2006 When the R-World was made a chargeable service last year, I remember all prepaid customers were put on daily plan and not the monthly membership plan, while all postpaid customers were put on monthly plan. When did they change the default plan to monthly for R-World? Looks like ADA is hell bent on destroying whatever Mukesh had built. As an update here is the snip from Reliance Website: http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/RWorld/html...ld_charges.html4. All prepaid customers will be automatically activated on the daily membership rental of Rs 3 per day of usage. *Important: prepaid customers have the option to shift to the Monthly Membership plan of Rs. 25 per month by calling up *333 or 3033 3333. rajeevjee 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2006 R-World Monthly Membership Charges (for "M" sites access only) are Rs 25 per month (under pre as well as postpaid). You have another option. Ask them to migrate you into DAILY MEMBERSHIP plan. Here, on whichever day you enter "M" site, Rs 3 will be deducted from your balance and for the next 24 hrs you can visit any M site any number of time. But, if you use any "E" site or any "U" site, charges for that site would be deducted over and above Rs 3 previously deducte for "M" site. Call them now and get yourself migrated to DAILY PASS. And as far as I remember, it is 3Rs per session for accessing membership area by a non-member. So the 25Rs is still not justifiable. But just to illustrate one more of suc incident, a month back I received an SMS from 1234 that "you have been sucessfully subscribed to MY Tunes. To set your tune, go to R World ......... . " Even though I had never dared to request for subscribing to My tunes. I immediately called up the CC. And u might believe me every parrot at the CC speaks out one fixed dialogue. I have checked in my system and you are rightly charged from our end. Then he suggested that u send "Unsub" as an sms to 1234. I did that. If anyone is thinking this is the end of the story, think again. after 5 minutes I reveived another SMS from 2811 saying the same thing that you have been sbscribed for My tunes ......... I was so irritated I sent "unsub" twice to both the numbers all over again. After few days, I received a call from reliance. The person on the other end directly said me to choose a song to be set for My tunes. He was talking as if he is providing it for free. He insisted on first choosing a song before talking any further. when I expressly asked for the charges he told that Rs. 30 + 15 will be charged.
