pranesh 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 Hello all, My Samsung Boss handset has problems. It has suddenly stopped ringing. When i get a call, it beeps once and that's it. It doesn't ring any further. The alarm is working well. Infact I have the same ringtone for alarm as well as the calling ring. The ringing functions with alarm. But when someone calls, or messages, it doesn't ring. I've checked the sound settings. Everything is perfectly fine. I've tried the vibrator and non vibrator modes. I've tried everything that I could find on menu. But the problem remains. The pity is, the warranty on the set ws for one year. And it stopped working 5 days before the warranty period expired. I was out of station. By the time I got back, the warranty period had got over. I need help now. Any tech, non tech help is welcome. Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I will have the soluion for you by tomorrow. My friend had the same handset and he told me to enable it. Its tucked away in a remote setting totally unrelated to ringer function. It damn sure was in beep mode!! Man!! I lived for five months with that buzzer. Can't believe it. There was no such mention of 1 Beep funciton on this cell phone's manual.
