hi,

this is my first post. i m a GSM user since long back & just to give a try to CDMA i recently bought a Rim phone. i have Lg rd 2530 handset.

i have read many of threads in the forum, its great knowledge. But i'v found that not much have been discussed about lg rd 2530.

i just want to know weather it is possible to sync handset with pc & does bitpim works with it ?

if yes then which data cable to buy (usb or serial port)?

i have tried with usb cable, i have bitpim 8.0 & the lg rd2530 pc sync software, but the phone is not being detected by both the s/w. both s/w give message phone not detected.

Plz tell the right method to connect.

Try this one

ON the task bar you can see SYNC Manager (pc sync software), Right click and click on Stop monitoring port and then again click on sync.

it may deduct.
