Honest 836 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 I thing cug is offered @Rs.50 per month per membermin 2 members are required @prathod My dear friend I think here drsoham means something else. He is not asking for the CUG charges offered by Reliance. Instead he is saying that if it is possible to make CUG for Rimweb.in members exclusively like corporate plans, so that we, the members of Rimweb.in can make voice calls at very reasonable charges to each other. It seems not easy. But nothing is impossible. So we must not loose hope. Regards.
prathod 3 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 @honest sorry i did not read his post properly, but imagine,if reliance starts something like what drsoham proposed, then there will be a big signup for the membership of this site, husband, wife, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and even inlaws all signing up on rimweb to get the cug benefit . right you said, we must not lose hope

savramesh 37 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 ^^^ good thinking.. we all can sign an online cug request letter and send to reliance..
manishag 17 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 yes it's a great idea. but how Relaince will authenticate the users if they are rimweb users. and if we put some elgibility criteria then who will manage the eligibility of the users. we need to be honest. one idea that i can think of is that we can have few rimweb representative in each area and they can authenticate the users
savramesh 37 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 i think reliance doesnt want any such authorizations.. still many corporate connections are being used by their firneds and relatives.. if we order in bulk say 100. 200, 500 or 1000 then not only reliance anyone will give a CUG connection with a good plan.. supernova 47 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 but what about inter state calls . cug is effective for local calling only . may be reliance provide some special tariff for interstate cug call rate
savramesh 37 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 cug for rimweb will be a national cug !! coz we have members from almost every place in india.. minimum expectations all rimweb # to # free calls all rimweb # to # sms free all local calls 30p all std Re1 or less national sms 50p or less also a good data plan.. vishalsheth 19 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 I'm on DAPO 400. I don't think I'd prefer being charged for sms. With rimweb it could add low rate calling for local and std.

raju_a 31 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 Hi, I think they good plans to corporate because of the bulk connections taken by them also the billing is in the name of corporate so only one bill is generated. raju I'm on DAPO 400. I don't think I'd prefer being charged for sms. With rimweb it could add low rate calling for local and std.

pasumark 51 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 (edited) Before speaking to Reliance we can gather what exactly we require and we can demand from them. Also we should speak with volumes, then only we can achieve. In my opinion best time to start negotiation is when MNP is implemented, so that there are good chances of Reliance budging. I have 14 connections. You can add mine. Right now we are in Platinum 225 plan I will list down my priorities, 1. We make lot of calls to local mobiles in Tamilnadu including Chennai 2. We use SMS frequently 3. Local landlines and STD is used by some numbers but not much 4. ISD is used by 2 no.s regularly 5. Of course CUG 6. Data is used rarely, since we use broadband 7. MCA for all numbers Likewise all of you give your requirements, then we will get an idea of what plan we require and the number of connections. Then we can come to a conclusion Edited April 16, 2009 by pasumark
