Growth Gap Narrowed

Recommended Posts

Dear Freinds

It is surprising that the growth rate between TATA and RIM

has narrowed in month of october.

RIM has made 10 lakh new subscribers

while TATA made 8.8 lakhs. Probably due to higher call

rates ,customer unfriendly schemes and no network

expansion policy.I hope TATA will come at par within a month

My friend, reliance has added 1.25 ml customers and not 1 ml as mentioned by you.. As far as TATA is concerned.. it can never compete wot reliance.. lolz..

Cheers!

Reliance Comm adds 1.25mn wireless customers

Reliance Communications, ranked among Asia’s 6 topmost valuable telecom companies, continuing the trend of consistent growth acceleration added over 1.25 million wireless subscribers on its network, during the month of October 2006. The superior value driven offerings from Reliance Mobile resulted in an 8% growth in average monthly subscriber additions of previous quarter (July – September 2006). Reliance Communications commenced services in over 200 towns during October and expanded its coverage to 6000 towns.

“The company has maintained the growth momentum in new subscriber additions”, said Mr. S.P. Shukla, President – Personal Business, Reliance Communications. “With the Indian Telecom Sector experiencing robust growth, Reliance Communications is confident to further enhance the current uptrend”, added Mr. Shukla

I think Reliance is now concentrated in the introduction of GSM in metros. Therefore TATA could reach near them. Just wait some time you can see how fast they are moving ahead.

I think it is nearly impossible for TATA to compete with Reliance even if Reliance concentrate on GSM.

whatever u all say about TATA, i personally like thier policies, see them they are everywhere in all the possible fields/streams. They keep it slow and steady and after some time they show thier existance and than silently insecure thier competitor.

i agree with munnamobile that tata policies are far better then reliance .

but as per practical communication part is concerned , reliance is much better then tata . they have done so many sales on just one thing . free roaming
