TCP/IP 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 I just got a Reliance Prepaid Phone. It gives me an error #691 saying invalid username/password. Is RConnect enabled by default? If not, how do I activate it? Can I do it from the phone or do I need to call them up? Everytime I call up customercare, I'm on hold for over 40 minutes, line gets hung up, and I'm back to square one.
rajeevjee 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 (edited) Call up *369 and ask them to do the DATA PROVISIONING. Tell them the error code 691. They should be able to do the rest. In case, you are not able to get thru phone, visit the nearest Reliance outlet. But, before that, I hope you have installed the cable drivers and then also installed the correct R Connect Dialer software also. TCP/IP 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 Just tried calling *369. It says I need to recharge by buying a recharge coupon, and the call disconnects. How come? I have a balance of Rs 150 right now.
rajeevjee 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 Rs. 150 is promotional balance or you paid for it? If it's promotional balance (given with handset under some scheme) then, you need to get a top-up done first and make your CORE balance positive.
TCP/IP 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 No, I purchased two Recharge coupons of 205 each. I tried making an STD call and it works. This is weird. But can't call their customercare #. It tells me to recharge and the line disconnects.
