Arun 795 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 I've noticed it too, in LG handsets. I have 2 LG handests, one with Budget Plan and other with Pioneer offer. Other than the software version, there is no other difference between the handsets. Even after resetting R-World many times, it won't show up. Also, the 'New Year' option in 'New Arrivals' is shown on the first handset, and not shown in the other. Anyone else have faced the same ?
Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 2, 2004 there are tonnes of such other glitches that have been hapening on these sick LG and SAMSUNG models.. u can write pages on them.. no use!! u can at the most complain abt them, but its taking Reliance ages to rectify such things coz of their huge customer base that is more and more demanding! sunil_jok 2 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 i have been checking my unbilled info quite regularly. when i started checking the amt was 146.5 it then moved to 147.7 and then a sudden move to 151.5 but it has been still since then i have made a few calls yesterday but even then the amt has not changed. it should hav been updated yesterday... when i went to webworld the guy there, with whom im quite friendly said that i shouldnt take that figure seriously. has anyone else been tracking their figure? Mahidhar 3 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 hey sunil, i noticed the same thing ... u can try one thing out ... keep track of all calls .. i mean the time and keep calculating the cost ... the unbilled info is not updated properly ... suppose u make calls on the 8th, the best thing to do would be to check on the 10th or the 11th ... it would have definately been updated by then ... try it out. Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 i dont believe u guys have all the time to do this!! well, this problem is present with GSM operators too... all ur frenz having prepaid cards might definitely be telling u abt all this. So theres no point discussing all this. rem that every operator is goin to charge u for every call u make, maybe sooner or later. And a 50-100 bucks here n there in 2-3 months is expected! Arun 795 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 I've been faced with this 'huge sudden changes' (once it added some 400 bucks in one day) too. When I enquired, they said that the amount shown is not accurate but and 'approximate' calculation only. I guess they need a better unbilled amount application, though it might be difficult for them to implement in the post paids. The pre paids (expected to be launched by January end) may have instant reporting of balance.
Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 i hope so... because once when i called them they told me that sir ur bill amt is Rs. 33,130!!!! out of which Rs. 130 is ur extra charges and the rest are Club membership charges!!!" lol .... it was Ridiculous... I told them "Sir, i think u should throw ur computer off!! hahaa" I said "u send me the bill and u'll face legal action".. so he said, "Iam sorry sir, it seems to be some problem with the application, incase u get this bill, pls visit the nearest WebWorld and my colleague there, would help u" !! This was all so ajeeb!! hehe.. .. poor Cust Care guys!!
sunil_jok 2 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 both the post sounds interesting.... do you really call for 400??? my monthly calls comes to below 200 and for the past 5 months i have had negative balance, because they have been taking the amt from the deposit i gave.... and chirag... what u said was really hilarious... i am sure the cust. care guy felt like a fool. im sure he must have cursed himself for taking up that call..... lol
Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 wht deposit??
sunil_jok 2 Report post Posted January 11, 2004 i took the plan very early i had to pay 1000 as local and another 1000 as std deposit. that amt is still with them but i asked them to deduct my bill amd from that. so i am not paying any money except rent to reliance
Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 11, 2004 oh alrite... i have too payed quiet some amt on STD deposits which i think i should also claim now... let me know wht all u've done... Just came to know frm my dad, tht since quiet some months my bills haven't come!! i think i'll have to ask them to bill me!! hehe... they'll be so delighted to see ppl coming to them to get their bills! sunil_jok 2 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 lol, i think they felt the same way bout me, when i was there constantly telling them my bill hasnt come and asking them my current bill amt. anyway i dont know how much u have given as deposit, the minimum would be 1000 for local deposit, and the max would have been 3000 for isd. now u dont have to have a deposit, so just go to the webworld and ask them to adjust that amt to ur next bill onwards. you just have to sign a form, thats all.... they wont pay us back that amd.... think bout all the money they r making with such amounts....... earlier we had talked bout paisas, but now its thousands, which the early subscribers had to pay
Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 i need to find time to bloody visit the Webworld now before 7 to get this done... lets see.. btw, just today i got my phone Reset, and that problem with msgin is resolved... but for RBill i now get an error "Please try after sometime"... tht meeans its just a network busy error i guess... hopefuly i should be able to view my bills soon... These days, i have not been able to connect to RBil at the website at all... the login servlet doesn't open ... anyone experienced this?

Chirag 5 Report post Posted January 24, 2004 Iam not able to access "Unbill Info " from R-World > RIM Bill . When I select Unbill Info I get this message " THIS SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU . PLEASE CALL *333 TO ENABLE THE SERVICE ".But day before yesterday I was able to access it and get my unbillinfo . but when i tried it today I get that message. My Set : LG RD7130 color set. DO ANY ONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM I tried resseting the menu but in vain well this problem is pretty common... reasons could vary. In my case, since the bills are not generated i get that msg. Even until now i get it. Maybe the service in your region is down, and hence RBILL is not able to load the application. And maybe, the previous dues of ur mobile have been cleared and hence there are no dues, meaning no new unbill information. So it might not show up for a day or two. Coz we've noticed that it doesn't really get updated just at the same moment. Keep complaining on Cust. Care but i guess in a day or two u might get a clearer picture. In my case, i kept complaining that the RBILL application is not loading, I got the phone reseted from a LG Service Centre so that there is no glitch in the handset. I verified with the Cust. Care that the application is switched on for me. But after all this, i came to know that no bills since Oct 2003 are issued for my phone. And hence this simple problem coz all the earlier bills are already paid !! wait and watch!

Chirag 5 Report post Posted February 10, 2004 yeh, many have complained that this UNBILLED INFO is not updated every day or so... It gets updated over sometime!! So not useful actually... Its like the BALANCE info on Prepaid cards. Like most balance info doesn't show up the same min, thts the case with UNBILL info! Cant really rely on it much!
