What are the charges of for using WAP through mini browser in the message option a. no charge.. free b. Charges based on time - like rconnect - if thats the case please explain charges c. Charges based on data transfer - if thats the case please explain charges d. Others - if thats the case please explain i call up cc atleast 10 times.. i get standard answer.. vikalp 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2006 well as far as i am concern.... i am nopt getting any charges being added to my unbill for as long as i USE WAP i am having DAPO post paid plan i consider this is a testing phase like we had a long testing phase for R-world and got R-world for free and surely this time WAP is free not for long but FREE FOR NOW till we get any pamplets through bill or any information official... or else i am not going to pay for that amount which was never disclosed to me and i beleive we all should do that... so dont worrry and be happy and hope to have this WAP free for life or atleast till we get bored of it... kunwarbir 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2006 well i can assure u wap is not free at least for prepaid customers. i checked my balance.......used wap ...again checked my balance, it was reduced by Rs.3 something paise! i dont know the exact charges but i am trying to work out! keep in touch! kunwarbir 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 this is the reply i got from reliance customer care email: "In response to your mail regarding charges for accessing WAP enabled sites through Reliance Mobile World, we would like to inform you that as you are in Reliance Mobile World membership plan you will not be charged anything apart from Rs. 25/- monthly rental for accessing the same". so i think this settles the charges debate!
