Chirag Thakkar 4 Report post Posted February 24, 2007 (edited) Hi Hetal, Firstly thanks for this software, its really very simple and easy to use and is a great utility to send messages. My query is Why does is support only 128 Characters? I mean the Phone supports 160 Characters. Many messages I am not able to send just because it doesnt support those 32 characters. Can we do anything about this? I am already reducing the message size but at times its not possible to reduce to 128 Chrs. Can you help? Or will we see a Version which will support 160 Characters? HetalDP 947 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 Sorry Little busy for March end things. 160 is suported by Phone but the Serial Port Command can Support 128, And We use Serial Port that. Even in GSM they have 2 Mode Text Mode and GSM PDU mode(Unicode SMS) in GSM Text Mode is 160 Character and GSM PDU (Unicode) Supports only 128. In CDMA Nokia it supports CDMA PDU Mode (Unicode SMS)
