Honest 836 Report post Posted November 25, 2006 (edited) ^^^ @linuxguy You r right my dear friend. But its still 0.29 paise less than Reliance. Many people who r waiting for prepaid Garuda services will be benefited with this. Again tough competition to all operators. Regards. linuxguy 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 Honest, yes, the mumbai tariffs rock hard!! i was expecting such a offer from MTNL itself! But unfortunately they dont have any promo packs / topups which reduce the rates further!
Honest 836 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 ^^^ @linuxguy But my dear friend I think network of Garuda CDMA is not good. Rather network of Trump GSM is better than Garuda. Well lets hope that MTNL will do some hardwork to better its CDMA services to servive in the market. Regards.

linuxguy 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 ya network is awesome but the biggest problem with mtnl is that they dont have any special tariff recharges...only the same old standard rates! Hey i thought the same operator wasn't allowed to offer services using two different technologies in the same circle!
Honest 836 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 ^^^ @prathod My dear friend you might be right at this point. But many of my friends told me that Garuda's network is not good while travelling on train. Calls disconnect frequently while travelling in local trains. Also do anyone have any idea about roaming charges / facility of Garuda Prepaid Mobile. Regards.
prathod 3 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 Dont know about trains as I dont travel much by trains, but the signals are good in most of the places in mumbai, and the only drawback is that there is no roaming in garuda its only for mumbai, and delhi users can only use in delhi. Honest 836 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 ^^^ My dear friend than instant roamers won't get any benefit from this. This one only be helpful to those who doesn't travel frequently or it will be benefited to students or housewifes. Without roaming its not worth. I think. Regards.
