leochettiar 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 (edited) Hi, My name is LeoI bough a Reliance netconnect a few months ago. The card I use is ZTE. I use this along with an IBM R52 laptop. Once I connect to R connect, I notice that my laptop get hung sometimes or my machines starts to respond very slowly, application start to open slower. I would like to know where could the problem lie, in the card, some software problem or some setting problem. Edited December 1, 2006 by leochettiar
Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 First tell me, since when u r facing this problem? has this problem started recently or u r facing this problem since u purchased the card? If the problem has started recently, then it must be a virus/spyware problem! Just scan ur system with a good anti-virus and anti-spyware software! I'll suggest: Anti-virus : avast! or AVG Anti-spyware : Windows Defender & Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE
Arun 795 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 Does the slowness go off when you disconnect and close the NetConnect dialer ? Have you tried creating a DUN dialer and connecting ? If it still slows down your laptop, it really could be some virus activity that starts its work when you go online, as Vishal pointed out.
