I want to use R Connect Platinum 100 plan which comes with Sierra Card for a monthly rental of Rs.1500 and unlimited surfing. Please let me know if I can avail this plan on desktop computer. I have a desktop computer with Windows XP, 604mb RAM and Pentium 4 processor. Somebody said me that data cards are only available/works with laptop. Please let me know if data cards work with desktop. Thank you. Also let me know if it is not availble then how can I avail 24 hours unlimited internet with postpaid or prepaid connection for a particular fixed tariff rate. (Not 50p per minute). Actually I do some online content writing job, and I need all day internet without continuous connection errors as I face now. So I am planning to opt for reliance Platinum 100 plan. Also can you guys please suggest me which brand of 'PCMCIA card adapter for desktop' will work best with sierra card? A hardware seller said me abt G520+ PCMCIA card. Is it any good? Thanks. Arun 795 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 You can opt for any of the Data based plans mentioned here (under: For Reliance Netconnect Card only). Platinum plan doesn't have any limit at all. supernova 47 Report post Posted December 10, 2006 new buyers of the usb card pl. check before buying card whether platinum plan is being offered with tis usb card . i gotta know that from now they have discontinued platinum plan on usb card but still giving pcmcia card . can anyone confirm the news ?
