Bablus 66 Report post Posted December 7, 2006 What is MojoPac MojoPac is a technology that transforms your iPod or USB Hard Drive or Flash drive into a portable and private PC. Just install MojoPac on any USB 2.0 complaint storage device, upload your applications and files, modify your user settings and environment preferences, and take it with you everywhere. Every time you plug your MojoPac-enabled device into any Windows XP PC , MojoPac automatically launches your environment on the host PC. Your communications, music, games, applications, and files are all local and accessible. And when you unplug the MojoPac device, no trace is left behind – your information is not cached on the host PC. has anyone tried.. i am planning to try on my 6265 1gb memory chip.. whats do expert's say? Arun 795 Report post Posted December 8, 2006 ^^^My dear akalmand friend can u provide us some link for this. This might be very interesting. Definetely I want to know more about this. Regards. Mojopac is a software that can cram your Windows XP desktop, settings, accounts, and even programs and preferences onto any portable storage medium (like USB brive, ipod, mobile, etc.) to be accessed as a virtual desktop from another computer. You can insert the drive into any other computer running Windows XP and have your own applications and data available to you. When you're finished working, remove the drive and leave nothing on the host machine. This has real possibilities for someone who travels and isn't always able to carry or connect a laptop, or someone who finds it more convenient to go from a home desktop machine to a work desktop machine using a tool that weighs essentially nothing, rather than a laptop. If there's a particular program that's needed to achieve results you want someone in the office to get, you can load up a flash drive with all the necessaries and give (or lend) it to them. A CD won't do that !

prathod 3 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 The solution for accessing your critical open-source software on a friend or relative's computer is as simple as downloading a few files to your iPod, smart phone, or flash drive. The PortableApps Suite is a collection of standalone software that will run from any (you guessed it) portable device, such as an MP3 player or a hard drive. It includes Firefox Portable, OpenOffice.org Portable, and Thunderbird Portable, as well as an IM client, a calendar, an antivirus program, and a Sudoku game. The whole standard suite will run comfortably on a 512MB flash drive. If you're looking for something a bit smaller, the PortableApps Suite (Lite Edition) replaces OpenOffice with the word-processing program AbiWord Portable. The smaller suite should run effectively on a 128MB drive. Aside from accessing your favorite applications, the best part of portable applications is that none of your personal data is left behind, so you won't have to worry. If you've got an iPod or other portable device, give the PortableApps Suite a try. You may never leave home without it again So forget mojopac and enjoy this free application. http://www.download.com/PortableApps-Suite...4-10608887.html
