tanveer 59 Report post Posted December 12, 2006 I dont think so. I used to d/l ringtones and all when they were free., since those things came under u and e categoriess, I have never used them. except for Mobile TV on the day of Mumbai blasts. Do you think I would send 1500 messages, if I were charged for it? I and for that matter most people only use paid services when they really need them. WAP is a comfort, if they charge for it, I ma ready to forgo that comfort.
KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 Good news friends, I have received the reply from Reliance as follows: - Dear Customer, In response to your mail regarding charges for WAP application, please note that as the same is available under R Surf option, which comes under membership plan in your Reliance Mobile World facility you will not be charged anything for accessing the same. We would also like to inform you that from December 20, 2006, customers who had not subscribed for membership plan will be charged for the network usage @ 10paise per 10KB applicable on Reliance Mobile World usage. Yours sincerely, Prasun Banerjee Corporate Centre Reliance Communications So the WAP is still free if you subscribe to M Plan. After 20.12.06, it will be charged at 10ps per 10kb as stated very clearly in the email above. SO rejoice till they decide otherwise. Cheers. Enjoooooooooooooooooooooyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
