Invalid Username And Password

HI,

I am having Nokia 6265 with CA-53 compatible cable. When I try to access internet, after verifying username and password, it gives 'Invalid username and password' error.

I am dialing #777 and giving my mobile number as username & password both.

Please, help me out. One friend told me that, modem needs to be activated but *412 number is not working and am trying to contact call center for 2 days but not able to do it.

Someone said to use ATM string in connection, but not figure out how to do it.

Any suggestions !!!

where can I get R-Connect Dialer?

Plz mention download location - for Nokia 6265. is it different for diff mobile model?

NetConnect service doesn't need to be activated unless it was deactivated before, as it comes enabled by default. Hope you entered the username/password without the 0 in front of the number ?

Yes, using username & password without 0 (also once tried with 0 :clap: ), same result.

This is my new mobile and doing internet process first time.

when connected, it displays sending/receiving texture on mobile.

uninstall and then resinstall r connect .then try . may be it works

If all the above solutions dont work call up *333 and ask them for data provisioning that is to activate rconnect from their side maybe ur mobile has not been activated as a modem from thier side.

and please,if reseting ur phone do it only thru ur handset menu option dont use any other codes posted here or anywhere on the internet for resseting ur handset as it may delete ur user profile from the phone and can even wipe out the network which will require u to take ur handset to nokia service centre and keep it there for maybe a fortnight to have it rectified,which may cause u great inconvenience.

thanks guys,

I am connecting thru Dial-up networking as am not having r-connet dialer and don't know where to download.

*333 is of no use, it says all lines busy and your call is important and then disconnects. Web world visit helped and they said cust care is down. I received SMS that they have took request to activate my mobile as mode, so waiting for it.

- R-Connect dialer (can send me at vorapranav@yahoo.com, if smaller size)

- AT command

can try out.

Invalid User name or password means

authentication's getting failed might be b coz u have Old number and using it in new phone

I remember in 2003 2004 all phone were not coming with Pre activated Data Connection

Try to Resolve it by *333 or Web-World
