kshah 452 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 you have to do fdisk on it. It is bcoz most chinese players has hacked memory, means their capacity is always far lower than shown e.g 1 GB can be maximum 256 MB and worst 128 MB. Boot your computer using CD to command prompt. Delete partitions on drive create new partitions and then format. You will recover your drive. You can recover your player if OS is lost. read more at http://wiki.s1mp3.org/index.php/Main_Page
anujit 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2007 Whats a chinese ipod???? If it's an Apple iPod... start it up in disk mode and format it as a Fat32 drive. Sometimes USB ports are the problem... if your iPod hasn't worked on that particular USB port before... try it on another system.
