if you wish to link cracked versions of those software who usually/ normally require a purchased key to unlock, then it may not be permitted.

if it is for free ..to distribute and use then ther will be no objection.

Dear Valuable Moderators,

Will you please insist members to upload files (larger) to non premium hosting servers?

most of them uploading files to premium membership based servers.

so that we couldn't download most of stuffs.

if free servers like downtown.vc is being used it will be more helpful to us

so that we can download files without any time - slot - speed limit.

This is a democratic forum. Members can upload files wherever they want to.

But the thing is that Uploading is free for them.. and it takes about some tweak and time management to download from the premium servers..

Of course it helps if you can manage your IP.

Btw instead of 'insisting' on the free servers, what can be done is that, Moderators can 'suggest' a number of free and 'dependable' servers for the files to be uploaded.

Secondly, request the uploader to upload the files on the free servers... I dont think the request will go un noticed.

You are asking about CUSTOM MEMBER TITLE. And you too can change it according to your choice. But for this change you have to first complete 500 posts in the forum.

As the CUSTOM MEMBER TITLE can only be changed after a member completes 500 posts as per the FORUM RULES.

I'm unable to upload files of more than 1 MB in size. Is there some kind of a restriction, cuz I'm getting an "Access denied" description in the Error report on the page.

Additional even before uploading any file there's already a message on the attachments section of the upload page which states "Attachment space used 949.85K of unlimited"

Would somebody please clarify this issue for me?

There are 2 limits set, one is for each post (or PM) and the other is a global limit for all your posts and PMs. I have now increased the per post/PM limit to 2 MB and removed the global limit for all "Members".

My dear friend, Buy / Sell Forum in Rimweb is a separate a forum now. You have to open Buy / Sell Bazaar forum from the Forums page of our beloved Rimweb. When it got opened then click at View New Posts. Then only you will be able to see all new Buy / Sell posts.

well, it is an automatic process... so when you reach 1000 posts, it will promote you to the RIM Guru group. It can be changed manually though, but is there any reason why you need it like that?
