But those threads deserve to be in Buy / Sell Forum and thats why they had been moved to BUY / SELL forum. And ofcourse, those 3 special threads which you are pointing towards, had been given / provided the VIP STATUS by PINNING them. So those 3 threads will remain on top of the BUY / SELL FORUM until and unless the related handsets are not available for sale. Anyways, All Well That Ends Well ! Regards. Yes dear Mufaddal, some of the posts can definetely be splitted and merged in other threads which are going on in other HTC / Palm Subforum. As told by Arun Ji above, he will do the needful soon. ACS 130 Report post Posted February 11, 2009 Hi Arun, I have noted that all of a sudden, there are around 10 Topics pinned in the Buy/Sell Forum ! And surprisingly there are certain Topics which have got Pinned without seeing the next sunrise. 1) Firstly, i would like to know the defintion of a 'Pinned' Topic. 2) Under what criteria/circumstances can a Topic enjoy 'Pinned' status? 3) As far as B/S Forum is concerned, can a product really continue to Sell, especially as projected in these cases? I personally feel that under any circumstance, a B/S Forum Topic can rarely enjoy Pinned status. As we all know, their are many TRUSTED Sellers on our beloved forum, on whom other new members can trust. Although Rimweb doesn't take any responsibility / guarantee for the genuineness of these sellers but as they are old Members / Sellers on the forum and many buyers purchased the products from them without having any problems, this shows their Genuinity. 1. We are Pinning only TRUSTED Sellers threads in the Buy / Sell Sub Forum. 2. Threads will be UNPINNED as soon as they finished the stocks or their is no reply in the PINNED thread for more then 30 days. 3. Harshal 11 Report post Posted February 13, 2009 Well if we are debating what should get pinned in B/S forum, I feel that only topics with multi-products where stocks may last a while should be pinned, rather than based on if the seller is "Trusted" or otherwise. If the seller is trusted then there can a suitable mark-up to the topic. So if someone is selling only 1 off phone etc may not need pinning, since it is likely to get sold within a short span of time and hence may not warrant the 1 month pinning.
